Wim Steemers – Founder and CIO
Rosevalley Funds was founded by Wim Steemers in 2018. Wim has a 30-year career working in over 40 countries around the world, of which the last 20 years were spent in funds management at AllianceBernstein, Macquarie, Colonial First State, and AL Capital. While educated at University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, he always had his doubts about the Efficient Market Hypothesis, and he followed the development of Behavioural Finance over the years with keen interest. Through Rosevalley Funds he has finally been able to put into action what he suspected for a long time: there has to be a way to take advantage of the systematic biases that exist in human behaviour. Stuart Keighran – Member Investment Committee
Stuart began collaborating with Wim during the incubation period of Rosevalley Funds and is a key member of the Investment Committee. He has more than 25 years experience in investment management having worked with groups including Allianz Asset Management, AllianceBernstein, and MLC Investment Management. Stuart has been a long time skeptic of the Efficient Market Theory and founded Tara Hill Capital with exploiting market inefficiencies being one of its founding principles. Stuart helped design and build the global Real Asset Quant tools and systems at AllianceBernstein and has a Bachelor of Business and a Grad Dip in Applied Finance.
